TIP: If you don’t see your accident report, be patient. Texas law gives the investigating officers up to 10 days after the date of the crash to submit a written report.
Sometimes an accident may not be investigated by a law enforcement officers.
This usually happens when there is minimal damage. On those occasions you can complete your own police report and mail it to the Texas Department of Transportation. Here’s the link
